Our client, a prominent healthcare provider, needed a solution to enable remote monitoring of patients suffering from a long term ailment and convalescing at home. They faced difficulties in ensuring continuous care and timely intervention by physicians due to limitations in existing remote monitoring capabilities.
Solution
The CA team developed a mobile app for home health monitoring, allowing caregivers to record vital statistics of patients that physicians could view via an Admin portal. Alerts based on vital health metrics would draw the physicians' attention, enabling timely intervention. The mobile app had user friendly features such as voice input for data entry, medicine reminders, emergency contacts, ability to add notes and view shared reference material.
